Born and raised in Whitehorse, Simon Kishchuk is a retired ski bum and former public servant who spends his time snowboarding, playing soccer, hiking, cycling and (very slowly) learning to play the ukulele. He developed his skills and appreciation of media, design and production at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Porcupines (Erethizon dorsatum) are a beloved Yukon species known for their quills and excellent tree climbing abilities.
